Description: This has been one of the most exciting and eventful years in the history of Derbyshire County Cricket Club with the opening of the new Gateway building.

The viewing gallery is within the grandstand and has a magnificent view overlooking the pitch. It incorporates five indoor cricket lanes, a gymnasium, function rooms and sports hall.

It was conceived and brought about through a partnership with the local Derwent Community and National Lottery funding.

Partnership has been a key theme for PfS at Derbyshire County Cricket Club this year with a number of pilot programmes taking place in the club, schools and community venues.

This has given us the chance to develop and hone some really exciting new curriculum materials using the latest digital media creation software.

It has also given us the chance to work with practitioners from across the city on a number of joint initiatives.
